Margaret Muriel Gray was born in Helensburgh, Scotland on 2nd April 1879 , the daughter of George William Gray, a shipbroker. She studied at the University of Glasgow from 1903 and graduated with a first class MA Honours degree in 1907 . She attended classes in Mathematics and Logic in 1903-1904, History, English Literature & Language in 1904-1905, Latin and Honours English in 1905-1906, and Honours English and British History in 1906-1907. These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...
